K9 Concierge Daycare & Boarding for your Dog

FAQ’S

1. How will you access my home/condo/apartment?

A key/fob must be provided.  Unfortunately we cannot pickup or drop off keys/fobs with your front desk concierge. 

2. Who will be caring for my dog?

K9 Concierge is fully owned and operated by me, Brandie.  You can always trust your dog will be in my care and only my care at all times. 

3. Does my dog need to be up to date with vaccinations?

YES. ALL dogs must be licensed with the city of Toronto and up to date with vaccinations (Bordetella, Rabies and DHPP) for daycare and boarding services.

4. Can I get updates about my pet while I’m away or while using daycare services?

Absolutely!! Tell me how you prefer to be contacted (email, text etc..) and how often, and I will send you photos and updates at no additional charge. 

5. In-case of an emergency, how will you care for my dog?

I am certified in Pet First Aid.  I also have 3 veterinary clinics within walking distance from my home.  Your dogs safety and well-being is my number 1 priority… always. 

6. Do you board puppies?

Yes... I love Puppies and welcome them given availability and that they have had all their vaccinations.  For daycare clients please inquire. 

7. Do you board/daycare dogs who are not spayed or neutered?

Unfortunately no.  It’s very important that while in a daycare (multiple dog setting) all dogs get along.  Sometimes unfixed dogs or dogs in heat can display behavior issues with dogs of the opposite sex.

8. Does my dog need to be house trained?

Yes.  All daycare/boarding dogs must be effectively house trained.  I cannot entertain dogs that “mark” or continuously urinate in my home. 

9. Where will my dog sleep when being boarded at K9 Concierge?

I always tell clients they are welcome to bring any belongings they wish along with their dog.  Beds, toys, blankets, dishes, etc... if your dog sleeps in a crate/is crated at home, please bring that as well.  I want your dog to feel at home with me.  Your dog is welcome to sleep in my home, however he/she sleeps in their own home. 

10. How do I pay you for your services?

I ask that 50% be paid at drop off and the other 50% be paid at pick up, for Boarding services. No exceptions. For Daycare and Concierge, please inquire.  Payment may be done via cash or email transfer.

11. Do you accept puppies for daycare?

Possibly, yes. Please inquire within for puppy requests. I do ask that all puppies are up to date with vaccinations before becoming a daycare guest. We look forward to having your pup join our group! 

12. Can you tell me about your dog walks

Time starts when we are ready to walk outside, pickup and drop off is not included in the walk time. Dogs are kept on short leash and attached to me via Carabiner at all times, and grouped by size and temperament.
